Welcome to our TAKE2 profile page.

We’re committed to tackling climate change. That’s why we’ve made the TAKE2 pledge. Check out the work we’ve been doing to reduce our emissions and our plans for the future.

Make the TAKE2 pledge and join us in helping keep the temperature rise under two degrees.

Our pledge

A pledge should never be made lightly (and we've made a lot of them below).

We're serious about this, and we intend to bring about a step-change in the hospitality industry through communication, collaboration and structural change to our business. We want to set the benchmark in the processes and procedures we develop with environmental sustainability being front and centre in everything we do.

We are about to embark on an approx $2m build of a state of the art central production kitchen and as such have a fantastic opportunity to develop best practice solutions from the ground up.

The structural pledges we have made below will become embedded in the build.

The systems changes will become part of our day to day operations.

The attitudes we change will last a lifetime..........

    Our stories

A few years ago, we took the step to change from caged eggs to cage free eggs. It took one phone call........if only it was that easy to minimise our carbon footprint.

Changing a few bits of packaging and some light globes doesn't cut the mustard, we have to instigate wholesale systematic change. As a business we are about to experience massive change moving from our current site to a state of the art purpose built facility which represents a fantastic opportunity for us to up our game when it comes to reducing our carbon footprint.

If we succeed in this process, we hope to influence our customers, our suppliers, our staff and our competitors. Cleaning up the way we do business should be bi/tri/quad-partisan.

It's a sad reality that money talks, so if the changes we instigate are cost neutral or even income generating then hopefully our competitors will get on board. And that's fine with us 'cos we're all in this together!
