Less carbon each day keeps the doctor away

How will global warming affect our health?

Many of us have never considered the question, but it’s one that is front of mind for TAKE2 Founding Partner, Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA). They’ve joined TAKE2 to create a groundswell of understanding and action on climate change.

DEA is a medical advocacy organisation that highlights the impact global warming could have on our health. It’s particularly concerned with how climate change will affect vulnerable Australians, including the elderly, the young and those unable to care for themselves.

These environmental medicos want our healthcare system to adopt low emission strategies and use more sustainable practices. They see greening the health sector as a win for the environment and the health budget.

These doctors’ orders are to sign up to TAKE2 today – for the sake of your health and the planet’s.
