In 2013, BMW was the first luxury car maker to launch an electric vehicle and has since introduced an additional seven electrified vehicles to the Australian market. The group has made a global commitment to deliver 25 by 2025.
With 95 dealerships and service outlets across Australia, and operations in more than 140 countries, BMW has a long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability. This is strengthened by its TAKE2 pledge.
BMW joins other big name brands – HESTA, David Jones, Country Road and General Electric – in signing up to TAKE2. Together these companies employ more than 358,000 people across Australia and have more than 16.5 million customers.
